Free public cultural display at Namsam Tower, Seoul

Asia, South Korea

I am sorting through my camera and I found this little gem.

I traveled to Seoul last November 2011 not knowing where to go and/or what to see.

But as soon as I went to NamSan Tower, I saw this public demonstration of some instruments playing and sword fighting techniques, and I was instantly enthralled.

The swordfighting and the sword slashing public demo was especially cool since the actors/players wore costumes from the Joseon era, similar to what Korean soap actors in historical dramas.

I hope you like it too.
