There is really no better gauge of the quality of a restaurant than the number of customers lining up just to try its dishes. At the same time, if a restaurant keeps opening up more and more branches, then it’s a sign of customer satisfaction.
Well, in that case, Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen, is definitely the current toast of the town as it opens up yet another branch, this time at the Power Plant mall in Rockwell.
This, only months after opening up a branch at the SM Aura. Their flagship branch is the one located at the Level 5, East Wing of the Shangri-la Mall in Mandaluyong. Online sources say that it is a concept under the Yamagoya Ramen, a traditional Japanese chain established as early as the 1970s, specializing in Chikuho-style noodles with its signature pork soup.
I was lucky enough to try their Shangri-la branch and there I tried the best Gyoza and Black Garlic Tonkotsu.
Now, my next goal is to visit their PowerPlant branch.
Even now, I am sure that will be a frequent at their Makati branch. After all, no matter how near or far, a good restaurant will always attract lots of customers.
