As earlier announced, I had the wonderful opportunity to come visit Bukidnon once again, and I can tell you that it’s one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had in a long while. The green surroundings, the fresh air and the warm welcome from the locals made it really memorable.
During my visit, I checked in at Pine Hills Hotel and with all honestly, for a provincial hotel, they really exceeded my expectations.
Yes, their rooms are not smaller and the beds are not that comfy but it has everything you will need. Each room has a TV set, an AC, and a vanity mirror..
In total, Pine Hills Hotel has 32 rooms (standard, superior, deluxe and executive rooms.). Standard rooms have two singe beds. Superior rooms have two single beds and a matrimonial, highly recommended for families.
The deluxe rooms have two queen sized beds while the Executive rooms have one king sized beds and a matrimonial bed.
The hotel has a small cafe at the lobby. The hotel however, does not provide complimentary breakfast, bummer. It has a small pool and an outdoor bar/restaurant where you can hang out at night.
It has two meeting rooms and a ballroom where you can hold conferences and events.
The employees are very accommodating and will go the extra length to assist you. I was there on a business trip and I had several clothes washed and ironed in the same day.
What I also love about this hotel is the location. It’s location along Fortich Street, right in the heart of Malaybalay City. It is just 5 minutes away from the newly opened Jollibee Malaybalay Drive thru.
It’s about 30 minutes to the Monastery of Transfiguration and about an hour road trip to Valencia City.
It’s about an hour and half away from Del Monte farm and from Dahilayan Adventure Park.
The room rates are very cheap too. Room rates start at P1,667 which is quite a bargain.
